Game system and prizes

Competition game system is swiss system divided to two groups on saturday  and cup on Sunday. All the teams have at least two games on Sunday guaranteed.

Morning group on Saturday is played from 09:30 to 14:30, afternoon group from 14:30 to 19:30. You can apply for afternoon group, if it fits better to your flights, ferries or long drive - other teams are drawn so that both groups are same sized.

On Sunday, there will be C/D-cups and A/B-cups for all. It means six rounds, of which the lower cups are shortened a bit, so we can promise all the games ended latest at 17:00. More detailed prices and schedule are published after we know the final team count.

Prize pool is 80% of participation fees plus 500 euros from our sponsor. There will be a prize for D-cup winner, C-cup winner, Top3 in B-cup and Top4 in A-cup. 

A1 prize will be at least 1200 euros for minimum of 30 teams and min 1000 euros for 28 teams competition.

Getting there

The venue is Helsinki Pétaque hall at Veturitallinkuja 34, Helsinki. Pasila train station and multiple buss lines are just 10 minute walk from the venue.

Arriving from the airport or harbor
Ask for a ride! Helsinki petanque has committed to offer the rides from airports and harbors. Mention the need on registration form, and we can share the details via Whatsapp or Messenger. 

Arriving from the city center
Take any local train and leave after one stop. (ticket zone:AB)

Accommodation

There are many hotels in Pasila and train connection from Helsinki city centre is only 6 minutes. Also airbnb works in Helsinki.

Eating

You can buy snack food and drinks at arena. On Sunday there will be a warm lunch too. The shopping and restaurant services mall of Tripla are available a couple of hundred meters away. 

Tournament fee

The tournament fee 75€/team can be paid in advance with the information below or in cash on the spot. The fee must be paid before the first game.

All other than A-cup games are shortened by 4-4 start to guarantee the ferry schedules and evening flights. If there is a swedish team in A-final, we guarantee the 17:41 train from Pasila to Turku harbour, for the Viking line boat.
